At Kearny Schools, there was an achievement gap between Hispanic students, economically disadvantaged students and the white student population. The gaps were identified through Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC) process. Through the use of pre-assessment data, benchmarking of student progress and strategic performance assessments, the administration was able to make data driven decisions and provide teachers with the resources needed to improve instruction.

  • Fountas Pinnell – Benchmark assessment system
  • Lucy Culkins Units of Study – Strategic Performance Assessments

Assisted in coordination of curriculum across seven schools to assure consistency of instruction
